Hello and welcome to The Artisan Within.

My name is Betty and I live in a small town in North Carolina near our state
capital, Raleigh, which is in the center of our beautiful and diverse state.
The name of this website is a reflection of my inner self which is as
diverse as the country around me. Here you will find many pages of
poetry which I have written over the years, right up to the present.
I am also a self-taught artist and in time will hopefully be showing
some pages of the paintings I have done.
Please join me as I peruse my past and go forward to the future.
